چکیده

This study presents a novel method for modelling of Eulerian incompressible fluid flow by using peridynamic differential operator. The operator is used to calculate partial derivatives in the Navier-Stokes equations. pressure Poisson equation obtain field whereas velocity obtained solving momentum numerical procedure solve equations peridynamics also provided. capability proposed model demonstrated considering problems two-dimensional cavitation, inside an open channel, and over cylinder. Incompressible Non-Newtonian Fluid Flows

A non-Newtonian fluid is a fluid whose flow properties differ in many ways from those of Newtonian fluids. Most commonly the viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids is not independent of shear rate or shear rate history. In practice, many fluid materials exhibits non-Newtonian fluid behavior such as: salt solutions, molten, ketchup, custard, toothpaste, starch suspensions, paint, blood, and shampoo e...

Perspective on Eulerian Finite Volume Methods for Incompressible Interfacial Flows

Incompressible interfacial ows here refer to those incompressible ows possessing multiple distinct, immiscible uids separated by interfaces of arbitrarily complex topology. A prototypical example is free surface ows, where uid properties across the interface vary by orders of magnitude. Interfaces present in these ows possess topologies that are not only irregular but also dynamic, undergoing g...

A Parallel Solver for Incompressible Fluid Flows

The Navier-Stokes equations describe a large class of fluid flows but are difficult to solve analytically because of their nonlinearity. We present in this paper a parallel solver for the 3-D Navier-Stokes equations of incompressible unsteady flows with constant coefficients, discretized by the finite difference method. We apply the prediction-projection method which transforms the Navier-Stoke...

Parcel Eulerian–Lagrangian fluid dynamics of rotating geophysical flows

Parcel Eulerian–Lagrangian Hamiltonian formulations have recently been used in structure-preserving numerical schemes, asymptotic calculations, and in alternative explanations of fluid parcel (in)stabilities. A parcel formulation describes the dynamics of one fluid parcel with a Lagrangian kinetic energy but an Eulerian potential evaluated at the parcel’s position. In this paper, we derive the ...
